Terror of zeus | Are you a victim?
Hi friends, In my previous post we discussed about a online banking fraud with the help of zeus trojan. This trojan is still active.
What is zeus?- Zeus is a trojan that was made to steal banking passwords or login information by key logging. Its a type of botnet also known as zbot. It spreads through drive by download and phishing.
(Drive by download means downloading and installation without your knowledge)
First identified in july 2007 and still active. You can found its malicious link anywhere on the internet like on facebook, twitter or your favourite social networking site, in your emails or in your chat messages. Even if you receive a link in your friend's mail you should not open because it may be possible that your friend's computer is infected and mail is sent out by trojan.
List of compromised banks and accounts is long enough to read, Cyber criminals has stolen billions of dollar with the help of zeus.
Bad thing about zeus is it targets only windows not any other os and I am using linux & don't have enough money to buy zeus , It is available in underground forums and the price is very low $700 to $3000 . I don't have money to purchase antivirus suite how to purchase trojans , someone help me pls.
Zeus is very difficult to detect and remove even with a good antivirus software. You can use symantec for this they claims to detect it.

Precautions- Choose a secure browser for online transactions, Never download from a untrusted link, Stay away from harmfull sites- Like warez and porn., Keep your antivirus software and spyware protection updated. Because devlopers of zeus making new versions of this malicious software.
